This year’s Bygg Reis Deg has come to an end, and as we begin to evaluate the results, one thing is crystal clear: we’re incredibly proud of what we achieved together. Our ambition was to help kick-start renewed optimism in a construction industry that has faced challenging years — and the response exceeded all expectations.
A spectacular opening conference
The event began in grand style when our Chair, Arne Jebsen, officially opened the fair and welcomed over 460 participants to a packed Opening Conference in Nova Studio.
From there, our “construction manager” Anne Lindmo guided us through an exceptional line-up featuring Kåre R. Aas, Martin Bech Holte, Fredrik Reinfeldt, Nina Solli, and Trond Bentestuen — before artist Jon Niklas Rønning wrapped it all up with an uplifting performance, including a specially written Bygg Reis Deg song inspired by the day’s highlights.
The Construction Industry’s Honorary Award – Morten Fon, Jotun
The conference concluded with the presentation of the Construction Industry’s Honorary Award, given to a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the positive development of Norway’s construction sector.
This year’s recipient was Morten Fon, President & CEO of Jotun, who has led one of Norway’s most internationally successful industrial companies for more than three decades.
Although Mr. Fon could not attend the ceremony in person, we were warmly welcomed to Jotun’s headquarters in Sandefjord, where we had the honour of presenting the award. The visit left us deeply impressed — a fitting tribute to a truly deserving winner.
Thousands joined the Seminars
For 2025, we reimagined our seminar strategy. Instead of defining topics ourselves, we invited industry associations and exhibitors to help shape the programme — ensuring every session reflected the sector’s most relevant and pressing themes.
The result? Record attendance, lively discussions, and exhibitors reporting that the seminars became a perfect introduction to meaningful conversations at their stands.
400 Exhibitors made it a celebration
Across the exhibition halls, 400 exhibitors showcased products, services, and innovations that push the industry forward. The atmosphere was buzzing — with excellent visitor flow, new partnerships, and real business opportunities.
We were proud to see so many creative, well-designed stands, and we congratulate Skarpnes, winner of the Best Stand 2025 Award, for their outstanding effort and presentation.
